Audio Production Townhall

For this production I served as the Lighting Director, Communications Audio, and Broadcast Audio. I really enjoyed the challenge of working on this project as it pushed me outside of my comfort zone. When designing the lighting, I kept it simple as a simple design would look best. I took one of the movers and pointed it at the background and picked a fun and interesting gobo then took the other and, on another gobo, unfocused it to give it an interesting effect. To ensure the gobo would be seen on camera I took the lights on the back and brought their intensity down to really let the gobo stand out. The audio was a bit of a challenge as the way we intended on doing the audio did not end up working out for us so we had to pivot to a DI box at the last second. Because of that we did not have much time to do a proper audio check on the zoom interviewee. This led to us having to adjust things like EQ and Compression on the fly. In the Live Broadcast version of the production I did my best to get it sounding as good as possible but more could have been done. Other then that minor setback, I had a lot of fun with this production.
